About Stewardship Certification
The stewardship certification provided by CCA ensures the following:
- Members have implemented a stewardship plan with specific requirements and appropriate procedures to meet the quality standards of their products and technologies.
- A risk analysis of their product and technology portfolio has been conducted, serving as the basis for developing preventive procedures as well as mitigation measures.
- The products marketed have followed the legal approval process by regulatory agencies before being commercialized.
- The marketing of agricultural produce involving the use of their products takes place in accordance with international rules on regulatory approvals.
- Their customers have received clear recommendations on the correct and safe use of the products, aimed at ensuring the safety of the technologies and their users.
- Participating companies have agreed to undergo an external, independent audit conducted by CCA before receiving the seal, which is issued and valid for a period of three years.
- Participants have committed to implementing a stewardship culture that enables responsible product management, aimed at customer satisfaction, sustainability, and the company's reputation in society.
